Pricing & payments:

We accept most Visa, Mastercard & American Express in store. In addition you can also pay using BACS. All purchases or services provided must be paid in full prior to dispatch. Goods remain the property of Countrywide Piano Centre Ltd until cleared funds are received. Refunds of the full amount or deposits will not be refunded against goods reserved or ordered. . Prices are subject to change without notice from the manufacturer.

GOODS PURCHASED IN STORE  Refunds of the full amount or deposits are non-refundable against goods reserved or ordered. If you change your mind, the shop can legally keep your deposit the same applies for a reserved item, payment is non refundable as we could have sold the item if it had not been reserved for you.

Goods Purchased at Home:

You have the right to cancel up to 14 days after your order is delivered. You are entitled to a refund as long as you inform us in writing or email of your decision to cancel within 14 days from the date of delivery. The goods MUST be in “as new” condition with undamaged packaging along with any accessories. You can examine the goods as you would in the showroom but you must not install or input any data onto any electrical or hybrid goods. Any included DVDs CDs memory cards or software discs MUST still be sealed. We do not accept goods that have been damaged or mishandled whilst in your home. We will require PROOF OF PURCHASE.

Once we have received your cancellation we will contact you to arrange collection as quickly as possible. Once we have received the goods back and after inspection of the condition we will refund the costs plus our standard delivery ( if you have paid for stair work or steps this will not be refunded and you will also have to pay for the return stair /steps work) If on inspection any mishandling is found we reserve the right to withhold for the loss in value not less than 10%.

We cannot refund or cancel your purchase if the goods have been damaged whilst in your care or if you have no proof of purchase for goods returned to our shop. Refunds can take 7-10 working days to be credited back to your payment card after the goods have been received back.

Second hand Goods

Items which have previously been owned and used are sold as second hand by the nature of being pre-owned cosmetic blemishes to the finish and casework should be expected together with reasonable wear to the instrument and mechanical parts. Demonstration models are sold as seen at a reduced price and are not deemed to be brand new. We do not sell second hand goods as yet, on-line as people’s expectations on what to expect for a pre-owned piano can vary. We always recommend visiting the showroom and trying a piano before your decide to purchase. There is no
substitute for playing, seeing or hearing an instrument – no image or photo can ever truly capture the individual sound of a real instrument.

Suitability of Goods

Countrywide Piano Centre Ltd cannot and does not in any way attempt to warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose or level of playing ability, it is the Buyer’s responsibility to carefully check specifications, sizes and compatibility. It is the Buyers responsibility to ensure that the correct product is being purchase. Goods are not sold on a trial basis. All sizes & weights shown in any of advertisements or on our web pages are given as a guide only. Please note that colour and finishes shown on our web pages can vary according to your own computer monitor. We always recommend that you visit the showroom in person to satisfy yourself of the suitability prior to purchase.

Availability & Delivery

Where possible we have tried to indicate the availability of products on our web pages and in any advertisements however, this is an indication of availability only. Web pages or any advertisements elsewhere are not a “live” status of current stock. Delivery prices shown on our web site for delivery from our showroom are at a heavily subsidised rate and not to be taken as a quotation for delivery collecting or moving customer’s own pianos. Prices quoted for delivery are always given as straight forward access without steps, stairs, ramps, and some locations may be excluded. If you are in any doubt whatsoever please contact the showroom prior to booking or ordering. Countrywide Piano Centre ltd always takes great care when moving pianos however due to the very nature of moving heavy musical instruments it is not possible to clean piano trolleys before entering your home nor can our delivery crew remove footwear due to health & safety regulations therefore we cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for dirty marks on flooring or carpet. It is not possible to guarantee that the transfer of grit or gravel will not adhere to our piano trolleys which might scratch
flooring. Delivery times are always given as a guide AM or PM however, our crew are always happy to give you as much or as little advance notice by phone, on the day, as you wish, just let us know.

Piano Stools / Heat Protection Mats

Prices do not include any accessories unless indicated. Piano stools are available from the showroom and are usually heavily discounted if purchased at the same time as purchasing a piano from the showroom. If you have under floor heating it is VERY IMPORTANT to protect the piano from heat, ideally if possible isolate the heating away from the piano or we sell piano heat protection rugs which will help but are not guaranteed to stop heat damage. Prices vary depending on the size.
